Competition Terms & Conditions

By entering the competition, you accept these terms and conditions. 

Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over, except employees and their immediate families of Synergy 23 Pty Ltd ABN 83 122 790 452 (T/As Cosmic Cocktails & Chocolate Attraction). 

The competition is currently active (1^st March 2012) and will conclude when the “Like” counter on Chocolate Attraction Facebook Page reads 500 or at 6pm (WA Time) on the 31^st July 2012, which ever comes first. (The Competition Period) The winner will be draw on the 1^st of August 2012 at 9am (WA Time) 

If the “Like” counter reads 500 by the 1^st of April 2012 at 6pm (WA Time) the first Prize will be drawn on the 2nd of April 2012 at 9am and second prize identical to the first prize will be offered for fans 501 onward until 6pm (WA Time) on the 31^st of May 2012. If the Second Prize is activated, then the winner will be drawn on the 1^st of June 2012 at 9am (WA Time)

To enter, during the Competition Period, simply click on the Facebook Button at the top of this page, then click on the “Like” button next to the Chocolate Attraction heading. Then you can sign up for a new Facebook account or login with your current account. You consent to Chocolate Attraction also contacting you from time to time via Facebook in connection with promotional offers and other competitions. You may opt out at any time by sending us an email with unsubscribe in the header to info@chocolateattraction.com.au or remove us from your “Likes” on your Facebook page. 

All valid entries will be entered into the competition. Chocolate Attraction accepts no responsibility for late, incomplete, delayed, corrupted or misdirected entries whether due to error, omission, alteration, deletion, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise. 

The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. 

In consideration for awarding the prize to each winner, each winner agrees to participate in any promotional activity regarding winning the prize and consents to their name and image being used in promotional material. 

The winning “Fan” as determined by the judge will win the prize which of a 3 Bowl Slushy Machine Overnight Hire and a Party Tub. The prize includes the following; 

- An Overnight Hire of a 3 Bowl Slushy Machine including mixes, delivery and pickup; no Alcohol;

- The Party Tub which consists of a minimum retail dollar value of $170 worth of various product including a Mini Chocolate Fountain with 1kg of Chocolate, Ballons, Party Poppers, Madfish Wine, Assorted Chocolates etc;

The prize is valued at AUD$450.00

The total prize pool is valued at AUD $900.00 if the second prize is activated.

The winner/s will be notified via Facebook and a notice will be placed on the Chocolate Attraction Facebook Page and our Recent News Page at www.chocolateattraction.com.au If your contact details change during the Competition Period, it is your responsibility to notify Chocolate Attraction. 

Prizes are not exchangeable or transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. If the winner does not take the prize within the time set by Chocolate Attraction, the winner will forfeit the prize. Chocolate Attraction accepts no responsibility for changes in prize value. If the prize is unavailable, Chocolate Attraction will substitute the prize for one of equal or greater value. This may or may not be similar to the unavailable prize. 

Although the prize is open to all Australian residents over 18 years old, the prize is only valid for the Perth Metropolitan Area. The venue for the prize must be a private residence within a 100 km Radius of the Perth CBD, any venue outside the radius is at the discretion of the judge. 

The prize winner and accompanying guests are responsible for providing their own transport to and from the venue and for all ancillary costs such as extra food, other alcoholic beverages and any items of a personal nature. Proof of Age will be required by the winner and must be over 18 years old. Chocolate Attraction promotes the responsible service of alcohol. 

Chocolate Attraction may request winners to provide proof of identity and proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of Chocolate Attraction.

No changes can be made to the prize booking within 30 days of the function. Should the winner and accompanying guests be unable to attend their function they forfeit the prize. No correspondence will be entered into and no additional prize will be offered. 

The prize/s must be claimed and used within 3 months of the competition close date otherwise that winner will forfeit the prize. 


To the full extent permitted by law Chocolate Attraction, its officers, employees, contractors and agents will not be liable for any loss (including without limitation, indirect, consequential or indirect loss), cost or damage, personal injury or death which is suffered (whether due to the negligence of any person, including Chocolate Attraction, or otherwise) in connection with entering the competition or using the prize. 


In this document "Australian Consumer Law" has the meaning given under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). 

Nothing in this document will exclude, restrict or modify any right a person may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other legislation which under such laws cannot be excluded, restricted or modified. 

Chocolate Attraction accepts no responsibility for the tax implications from prize winnings. 

The personal information you provide will be used by Chocolate Attraction, and may be disclosed to its agents, to conduct the competition. You consent to such use, storage and disclosure. 

Any person invited by the prize winner to share in the prize as their accompanying guest and who elects to take up this part of the prize does so on the basis that he or she also accepts these terms and conditions. 

These terms and conditions are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Western Australia and the prize winner, their guest and Chocolate Attraction submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of such state.
